Tour Plan

When you arrive at the Leh airport, take a ride to the hotel that has been reserved for you. You should take an entire day off to adjust to your new surroundings at 11,135 feet altitude. The hotel will serve a hot lunch. Later in the evening, go to the Shanti Stupa, which is situated on a hilltop close to Chanspa, the Leh Market, and Leh Palace, also referred to as "Lachen Palkhar." Leh O/N.

Travel to Likir and Alchi Monasteries, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, after breakfast. The Hall of Fame Museum and Sangam (the confluence of the Zanskar and Indus rivers) were founded in memory of the Kargil War martyrs. O/N Leh.

Travel to Nubra Valley, also called the Valley of Flowers, after breakfast by using the world's highest motorable road, the Khardungla (18,380 feet). When you get to Nubra Valley, check into your camp or a hotel. Nubra Hotel/Camp will serve the lunch. Following lunch, take a walk along the Shayok River's banks. You may also have a double-humped camel ride on the sand dunes between Deskit and Hundur Village. O/N Valley of Nubra.

Following breakfast in Hunder, head to the beautiful village of Turtuk, which is the final significant Indian settlement before the Line of Control, which separates India from Pakistan-controlled Gilgit-Baltistan. During the 1971 Indo-Pak war, Pakistan ruled Turtuk until India took it over. It is appropriately called the "village divided by a border.” The village itself is unique, not just the name. Spend the night at Hunder.

Travel via Shayok to Pangong Lake (14,500 feet) after eating an early breakfast. China and India share the highest saltwater lake in the world, Pangong. Enjoy the lake's beauty. Later, in your spare time, you can relax and take in the slowly changing blue and green lake against a reddish backdrop as the sun sets, and you'll be treated to breathtakingly beautiful views. O/N Pangong Lake.

Visit Tsomoriri Lake by car. The route is essentially a "no man's land," making for a fantastic adventure. This is one of the most remote drives on the tour because of the vast, empty areas of the Chanthang plateau. Visit Chusul, a remote village, while travelling. Tsomoriri has a surface area of roughly 140 square kilometers and is located 4511 meters above sea level. Enjoy the evening, seeing the shifting depths of Tsomoriri Lake and the shadows cast by the nearby mountain. Stay at Tso Moriri in tented huts.

Enjoy the lovely sunrise view across the lake in the morning. After breakfast, travel back to Leh, stopping along the way to see Shey Palace and Thiksey Monastery. O/N Leh.

To board a flight back to the destination, make an early morning journey to Leh airport. Once back at home, the trip ends with unique experiences to share.
